Meet Our Leadership Team

Dr. Ed Rose
Head of School & Head Pastor of Central Church

 

 

Dr. Ed Rose serves as the Lead Pastor of Central Church and Head of School at Central Christian Academy in Wendell, North Carolina. For more than 26 years, he has faithfully led the church with a passion for proclaiming the gospel, making mature disciples, and investing in the next generation.


In addition to his ministry at Central, Dr. Rose serves as Dean of the School of Leadership at Global Life University in Manila, Philippines, where he helps equip pastors and Christian leaders for effective biblical leadership around the world.


Dr. Rose and his wife, Christy, have been married for 34 years and are blessed with three children and two grandchildren.


Emily Bell, MA
Preschool Director

 

 

Emily began working at Central in 2013. She has maintained various roles in the preschool and has served as assistant director and director for the last six years. She is a 2017 graduate of Liberty University, with a Master’s Degree in Professional Counseling, and a 2013 graduate of Appalachian State University, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology.


Jennifer Spain, M.Ed
Elementary Principal

 

 

Mrs. Spain received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Early Childhood Education from Meredith College with a K-6 teaching certificate, a Master’s degree in Special Education from North Carolina State University with a K-12 teaching certificate and Master’s degrees in Administration, School Supervision, and Curriculum and Instruction from East Carolina University where she received her Principal License. She has worked numerous years for the Wake County Public School System where she served as a Special Programs teacher, a School Administrator, and then retired as a Behavior Specialist. Mrs. Spain and her husband, Garry, raised their children at Central Baptist Church and she wants to continue to help the children in our community receive the best possible Kingdom education and love for our Lord and Savior.


Justin Dupuy

Executive Administrator

 

 

Justin earned a Bachelor of Science in Sports Administration with a minor in Business from Louisiana State University. Before joining Central in April 2026, he spent more than 10 years in the real estate and construction industries, gaining experience in operations, finance, compliance, and training. He is grateful for the opportunity to use his skills to support the ministry of Central Baptist Church and Central Christian Academy. Justin and his wife, Melinda, are excited to welcome their first child in September 2026.
